Motivation

Being an inland navigator, I started contributing to freietonne.de. I liked their easy to use editor in first place. Digging deeper, I noticed the well structured tagging-scheme approach of OSeaM and switched to JOSM as an fully featured editor. Back in 2010 I started supporting OSeaM:
